Negeri Jahe Merah is an ecosystem created by Business Unit Bintang Toedjoe Inovasi Natural or BINA, focusing on the procurement of natural resources for the B2B segment. The Negeri Jahe Merah ecosystem was built as a corporate effort to support the independence for medicinal ingredients, especially herbal-based ingredients. In its implementation, the ecosystem has seven pillars of process, such as seeding, cultivation, post-harvest, extraction or distillation, pharmacology, commercialization, and community empowerment. For this reason, PT Bintang Toedjoe managed to receive Indonesia’s Best Corporate Sustainability Initiatives at the 2022 CSI Award. What an incredible achievement!
