B7 X BNN RI Preparing to Expand Collaboration
PT Bintang Toedjoe (B7) supports the government's efforts to create a drug-free Indonesia. One form of support is implemented through Collaborative Governance with the National Narcotics Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BNN RI) to address drug-related issues.
To strengthen existing collaboration, President Director of B7, Mrs. Fanny Kurniati, accompanied by several members of B7 management, visited the BNN RI Building in Cawang, Jakarta, on Friday, March 22, 2024, to hold a meeting with the Head of BNN RI Marthinus Hukom, and his staff. At this meeting, they discussed previous collaboration and potential future initiatives.
BNN and B7 have collaborated in the field of community empowerment and rehabilitation since 2018. This collaboration involves using B7's CSV (Creating Shared Value) funds to support entrepreneurial development in converting drug-prone areas into productive ones, as well as training rehabilitation clients in cultivation, processing, and marketing techniques for the results of red ginger cultivation.
After the meeting, B7 expressed hope for increased collaboration with BNN RI in other areas in the future, such as joint sports initiatives in the anti-drug campaign.
