Supporting SDG programs on quality education
PT Bintang Toedjoe’s partnership with red ginger farmers has spread all across Indonesia, as the farmers have an important role in producing qualified and standardized red ginger rhizomes. As a form of appreciation for their commitment and hard work, PT Bintang Toedjoe has commenced a scholarship program for the children of farmer partners.
The scholarship donation has been proposed since 2021 and will be conducted yearly. It will be given to accomplished children of farmer partners who have undergone a selection program by the Community Development team. This program has currently been conducted in several cities such as Banten, Trenggalek, and Simalungun. Hopefully, the program can help children of farmer partners for their formal education in school. Moreover, PT Bintang Toedjoe is committed to conduct social activities that can support the sustainability of the red ginger ecosystem in Indonesia and continuously provide support in fulfilling the dreams of the farmers’ children from all over the country.
