Sustainability Efforts within The Company

PT Bintang Toedjoe is committed in environmental protection, where all the management ranks, employees, and parties which work for or on behalf of PT Bintang Toedjoe have a commitment to achieve the best possible performance in the management of the environment, based on the Environmental Management System of ISO 14001:2015, and become a priority in every operational activity with the emphasis of the following matters:

  1. OHS-certification of ISO 45001

    PT Bintang Toedjoe is committed to create a safe working environment and process in an effort to prevent accidents, occupational diseases, preservation of the work environment, and the improvement of resource competence. This is in accordance with the implementation of the Work Safety and Health Management System that has been implemented through the ISO 45001:2018 implementation in 2020. Several activities have been conducted to support the implementation of K3 in the company, such as routine workplace inspections and audits as well as periodic reviews and evaluations of K3 implementation with the management rank.

  2. B7RU

    It is an employee association of Cikarang Site formed by employee representatives of each Department, from Staff to Managerial levels. B7RU is a place for discussion forums as well as a collection of hobby and talent communities for employees to create a harmonic relationship in each level. These include one newly-formed community called “Hidroponik Asik” and sport communities such as Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal, and Table Tennis.

  3. Worker Organization consisting of Farkes Workers’ Union - KSPI & B7SA

    They are Independent Workers' Unions of Bintang Toedjoe formed at the end of 2022. The management provides opportunities for employees to form organizations that prioritize the harmonization of work relationships, through several activities such as Shocktober, Garden Space and Gracember.

  4. Employee Relations

    They are corporate events that involve all employees, including Iftar Together, Halal Bi Halal, Company’s Anniversary, Family Gathering, and Employee Gathering.

  5. People Development → KUALIMA

    PT Bintang Toedjoe is also determined to create quality cultured human resources and guarantee that the products have always fulfilled certain quality requirements based on their purposes, through an employee training and development activity called KUALIMA. With this activity, PT Bintang Toedjoe believes that quality human resources can produce quality products, by developing the quality of materials, equipment, methods, and environment.
