PT Bintang Toedjoe Wins BPOM Award for Active Contribution through CSR Program in Red Ginger Cultivation
Jakarta, May 27, 2025 — PT Bintang Toedjoe has again recorded an achievement by winning an award in the category "Active in CSR Programs, Especially Red Ginger Cultivation", which was given by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) in commemoration of National Herbal Medicine Day and was presented directly by dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., MD., Ph.D., Head of BPOM RI, in the 2025 Herbal Medicine Week held at the BPOM office, Jakarta.
This award is a form of appreciation for PT Bintang Toedjoe's commitment to encouraging the development of natural medicine through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, especially in the field of red ginger cultivation which is one of the main raw materials for national herbal products.
Through the red ginger cultivation CSR program that it runs, PT Bintang Toedjoe has established partnerships with many local farmers in Indonesia. This program includes providing technical training, assistance in the cultivation process, and guaranteeing the absorption of harvest results with a sustainable partnership system.
