BEJO Jahe Merah Holds "Mudik Gratis" for 12,600 Street Vendors, Household Members, and Workers
PT Bintang Toedjoe, through the Bejo Jahe Merah brand, in collaboration with the Central Java Liaison Agency, held an annual Free Homecoming event for street vendors, household assistants (ART), laborers, and other formal and informal workers. Free homecoming departures were held from the Purna Bhakti Museum Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta on Saturday, April 6, 2024. A total of 12,600 homecoming travelers departed for 35 regencies or cities in Central Java using 233 buses. Symbolically, the Bejo Jahe Merah Free Homecoming was officially inaugurated by the PJ. Governor of Central Java, Commissioner General of Police (Ret.) Nana Sudjana.
Arwin Nugraha Hutasoit, Head of Marketing at PT Bintang Toedjoe, explained that the Bejo Jahe Merah Free Homecoming has entered its fourth year. "In collaboration with the Central Java Liaison Agency, we aim to ensure the success of this annual homecoming agenda," said Arwin on Saturday (6/4/2024). "Our hope is that this collaboration will have a positive impact on the community, especially on travelers and bus crews, so that they remain healthy and free from colds and discomfort while traveling," he continued. Various unique messages were conveyed by Bejo Jahe Merah via banners and billboards on Instagram social media @genebejo. "Consuming Bejo while traveling ensures freedom from discomfort. Whether you're returning home for Bojo (wife) and children or seeking Eid clothes, don't forget to consume Bejo from Cikampek to Sukoharjo. Consuming Bejo Bye-Bye ensures a comfortable journey," he wrote.
Additionally, several booths providing purchases of Bejo Jahe Merah were set up not only at departure locations but also along homecoming routes and tourist attractions," Arwin concluded.
As is known, Bejo Jahe Merah is a herbal product containing red ginger, which is warmer and more effective for treating colds and discomfort, produced by the well-known pharmaceutical company (a Kalbe Company).
