Warming the Journey of 146 Million Travelers, Bejo Jahe Merah Supports the 2026 Free Homecoming Program and Provides 147 Booths at Strategic Locations

In welcoming the 2026 Eid homecoming (mudik) and return flow period, Kalbe Consumer Health, through one of its flagship products, Bejo Jahe Merah, is introducing various initiatives to support a safer, more comfortable, and healthier journey for travelers. One of these initiatives includes a collaboration with the Central Java Provincial Government in the 2026 Free Homecoming Program.

In addition, Bejo Jahe Merah is also presenting 147 Bejo Anti-Angin Booths located across various strategic points throughout Indonesia. This initiative aims to help maintain body warmth and reduce the risk of catching a cold during long-distance travel.

These booths are placed in high-mobility areas such as toll road rest areas, bus terminals, train stations, ferry ports, as well as several popular tourist destinations across Java, Sumatra, Bali, and Sulawesi. Their presence serves as a response to the significant increase in public mobility during the Eid period.

Based on data from the previous year, the number of people traveling during Eid exceeded 146 million. This surge in mobility has contributed to congestion in various transit points, particularly at rest areas, which serve as key stopping locations for travelers to rest.

Andry Mahyudi, Head of OTC, Women Health and Natural Wellness Category at PT Bintang Toedjoe, stated that long journeys and unpredictable conditions can lead to fatigue and increase the risk of catching a cold. Therefore, the presence of Bejo Anti-Angin Booths at strategic points is expected to provide a resting spot where travelers can recover before continuing their journey.

In addition to providing herbal products, several booths are also equipped with supporting facilities such as warm beverages, relaxation massage services, and interactive activities. These facilities are designed to help relieve common travel-related discomforts such as bloating, nausea, and general fatigue caused by long trips and changing weather conditions.

Bejo Jahe Merah contains natural red ginger with active compounds such as gingerol, shogaol, and zingerone, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These ingredients help relieve symptoms of “masuk angin,” allowing travelers to continue their journey more comfortably.

This program is part of the campaign “Silaturahmi Jangan Putus, Masuk Angin Bejo Yang Urus,” reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting public health during the Eid season.

Through the presence of Bejo Anti-Angin Booths across various travel points, Bejo Jahe Merah hopes to become a reliable stopover companion for travelers, helping them stay fit and enjoy meaningful moments with their families back home.
