Lagundi leaves (Vitex Negundo) contain active compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and triterpenoids, which have anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and expectorant properties. Due to these properties, lagundi leaves have long been used in traditional medicine to relieve coughs.
