Komix Herbal Introduces TEDUH, an Educational Park for the Jatinegara Community

Kalbe Consumer Health through PT Bintang Toedjoe, supported by Komix Herbal, organized the inauguration of the Urban Farming program “TEDUH” (Taman Edukasi by Komix Herbal) on May 7, 2025, in Jatinegara Village, RW 013, East Jakarta. The event was attended by 60 participants consisting of RW 013 residents and representatives from the Jatinegara Village administration. Also present at the event were Mr. Faqieh Insani, ST, Head of Jatinegara Village, and Mr. H. Rohmat, SAP, MSI, Head of Cakung District.

The event began with opening remarks from the attending representatives, followed by a symbolic inauguration ceremony and a traditional tumpeng cutting session. The program also included the handover of recyclable waste as a form of support for sustainable environmental management and concluded with a tour of the herbal plant area developed within the TEDUH space. This initiative is part of an effort to support the Jakarta Provincial Government’s program in transforming vacant land into productive areas that can provide benefits for the surrounding community.

Through the inauguration of Urban Farming “TEDUH,” it is hoped that the community, especially the residents of RW 013 in Jatinegara Village, will be encouraged to utilize land more productively while increasing environmental awareness. The presence of this educational park is also expected to become a shared and sustainable community space that provides health and environmental benefits for local residents.
