PT Bintang Toedjoe Promotes Food Security with Kayu Putih Subdistrict

Jakarta, September 24, 2025 – As part of the company’s commitment to supporting food security and community empowerment, PT Bintang Toedjoe, through its Community Development program, held a warm meeting with the Head of Kayu Putih Subdistrict, Mrs. Tuti Sugihastuti, SE, along with members of the Family Welfare Empowerment group (PKK) in Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta.

The meeting, held on Wednesday (24/9), served as a forum to discuss various food security initiatives, ranging from business development, the utilization of herbal plants, to the planning of strategic steps to build a self-reliant and empowered community.

On this occasion, the Bintang Toedjoe team also provided assistance in the form of 50 kg of compost and 21 herbal plants as a tangible contribution to the green program and community empowerment efforts.

Mrs. Tuti Sugihastuti, SE, Head of Kayu Putih Subdistrict, expressed her appreciation for Bintang Toedjoe’s concern for the residents. She emphasized that this collaboration brings great benefits to the Kayu Putih community, particularly in strengthening local food security through the use of land and herbal plants.
