Bintang Toedjoe Participated in the GP Jamu National Conference IX 2024
PT Bintang Toedjoe (B7) through its representative, Mrs. Dame Risca Gultom, was also present at the successful event of the GP Jamu National Conference (Munas) IX 2024 on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Located at the Lumire Hotel & Convention Center, this event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Sp.PD-KEMD, Ph.D. and Acting Head of BPOM, Dr. Apt. Lucia Rizka Andalusia, M.Pharm. This event was attended by participants consisting of DPP GP Jamu Management, DPD GP Jamu Representatives, and traditional medicine industries.
In his speech representing the Indonesian Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Sp.PD-KEMD, Ph.D. confirming that GP Jamu's central role in health pressure is in synergistic efforts to build community health. Jamu is a noble heritage that has been etched for centuries. Jamu is not just a potion, but also local wisdom that cannot be separated from time to time. Then, Dr. Apt. Lucia Rizka Andalusia, M.Pharm. appreciated GP Jamu for the designation of herbal medicine as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage. The BPOM continues to explore empirical traces of the richness of Indonesian jamu as support for the UNESCO designation.
The peak event of the GP Jamu National Conference IX 2024 resulted in the General Chairperson of the GP Jamu DPP, Mr. Jony Yuwono, M.B.A. for the period 2024 – 2028. In line with B7's goal of developing jamu, B7 encourages people to always consume jamu and supports jamu programs which are of course beneficial for Indonesia.
