PT Bintang Toedjoe, in Collaboration with Sukamahi Sub-District, Organizes the “Merajut Asa, Menjaga Alam” Program

As a pharmaceutical company as well as a modern herbal company, PT Bintang Toedjoe provided educational programs in the form of CV writing training as preparation for entering the workforce, as well as maggot cultivation training as an alternative method of managing organic waste with economic value for the community of Sukamahi Village.

Through the maggot cultivation training, community members were introduced to techniques for processing everyday kitchen waste into maggot feed, which can then be utilized as livestock feed or converted into high-quality compost. This program not only helps reduce the accumulation of organic waste but also opens up opportunities for economic empowerment within the community.

Meanwhile, during the CV writing session, participants received guidance on creating effective resumes, covering writing structure, how to highlight competencies, and tips for navigating the recruitment process. This training was provided as part of the company’s support for individuals of productive age who are preparing to enter the workforce.

To support the implementation of the “Merajut Asa, Menjaga Alam” program, PT Bintang Toedjoe also distributed maggots to the Sukamahi sub-district and provided CV writing guidelines to all participants. With this support, it is expected that community members will be able to immediately apply the knowledge gained and share it within their respective communities.
