On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, PT Bintang Toedjoe welcomed a factory visit from the Chemistry Study Program of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi University.

During the visit, participants were invited to tour the Red Ginger Garden and Viewing Gallery to directly observe the production process, which adheres to high-quality standards.

As part of the program, students and lecturers also attended a talk show entitled “Halal Certification Implementation in PT Bintang Toedjoe”, presented by Mr. Dede Suherman – General Affairs Manager and Halal Supervisor at PT Bintang Toedjoe.

The session provided insights into the importance of halal certification in the industry, an explanation of the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), and how PT Bintang Toedjoe utilizes technology to monitor the halal status of its products.

“Seeing PT Bintang Toedjoe for the first time, it looks very modern and impressive, with many processes already automated by technology. Just as the company aims to introduce red ginger as a pioneer product from Indonesia, I hope PT Bintang Toedjoe’s products will become more widely known in other countries and continue to grow in the future,” said Akmal, a student from  Muhammadiyah Sukabumi University.

This site visit is expected to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice, while also broadening students’ understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the application of halal standards in supporting public health.
